The NF-A8 is suitable as a case fan due to its square shape and 80mm form factor. The modular cabling and the low-noise and ultra-low noise adapters make the NF-A8 a flexible fan solution that meets even the highest demands.

Thanks to the included low-noise and ultra-low noise adapters, the maximum speed can be reduced to 1650 or 1200 rpm even without fan control. This further reduces the volume and drops to 12.9 or even 7.9 dB (A). Furthermore, the SSO2 reference class bearing guarantees maximum smoothness and excellent long-term stability.

Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame features built-in vibration pads made of extra-soft silicone to prevent vibration transmission. In addition, a stepped inlet area (Stepped Inlet Design) and an interior microstructure (Inner Surface Microstructures) for even better performance with less noise.

The impeller of the NF-A8 is equipped on the suction side with so-called flow acceleration channels. Acceleration of the airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades reduces suction vortex shedding, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-induced noise emissions.
