Noctua's 40x20 Premium fan provides excellent running smoothness for the highest demands. The double depth allows for a higher print performance and makes the NF-A4x20 the perfect choice for applications with higher air resistance. The FLX version also offers three speed settings via the supplied low-noise adapters, ensuring full flexibility between conveying performance and noiseless operation.

Based on Noctua's AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame system, the fan has built-in vibration buffers and a stepped inlet area. Aerodynamic design measures such as "Flow Acceleration Channels" reduce vortex shedding, resulting in higher efficiency and less noise. The smooth commutation drive technology and the SSO2 reference class bearing guarantee superb smoothness and excellent long-term stability.

A 20 cm short primary cable helps to avoid cable clutter in typical applications. An included 30 cm extension cable gives you extra reach for larger cases. Both cables are completely sheathed and have a 3: 4-pin adapter.

Since many devices that use 40mm fans have proprietary fan connectors, the NF-A4x20 ships with Noctua's OmniJoin Adapter Kit. Simply cut off the cable from the original fan, attach it to the adapter with the supplied 3M Scotchlok clamps and you can also operate the NF-A4x20 on proprietary connectors.
