By combining eleven stator vanes with a seven-bladed rotor, the NF-F12's "Focused Flow" system achieves high static pressure and focuses airflow on heatsinks and radiators. At the same time, the fan is very quiet due to a series of optimization measures and the SSO2 bearing. Its good cooling performance, comprehensive features and high build quality make the NF-F12 a good choice for air coolers, radiators or other pressure-sensitive applications.

Designed for pressure-sensitive applications such as air coolers or water-cooled radiators, the Focused Flow frame has eleven stator vanes that straighten and focus the airflow. The NF-F12 achieves performance levels that conventional fans achieve only at much higher speeds.

The NF-F12 is the first fan to feature the second generation of Noctua's proven SSO storage system. With SSO2, the back magnet sits closer to the fan axis for even better stabilization, resulting in improved precision and durability.

The NF-F12 PWM comes with a Low Noise Adapter (LNA) that reduces the maximum speed from 1500 to 1200 rpm. This allows you to either operate the fan at a constant 1200 rpm or to limit the maximum speed during operation. The reduced fan speed means a lower noise level
