Razor-sharp details and vivid colors - in every shot
Capture stunning 4K HDR video footage where colors, textures and details stand out. The Z200's high-performance Exmor RS™ Stacked CMOS Type 1.0 sensor delivers high-sensitivity, low-noise images at up to 120 frames per second* in 4K and 240 frames per second in FHD. Full pixel readout and real-time BIONZ XR™ image processing preserves every detail, while 709tone and S-Cinetone™ compatibility facilitates color matching on Cinema Line and Sony system cameras.
* With approx. 23% bleed. Please refer to the operating instructions for the minimum requirements for the memory card to ensure correct operation.
4K 120fps* for breathtaking video recordings in slow motion
The high readout speed of the Exmor RS sensor enables 4K High Frame Rate (HFR) recording at up to 120 frames per second and FHD at 240 frames per second. Achieve quadruple slow motion in 4K at 30p or quintuple slow motion at 24p. Whatever you choose, the high-speed AF ensures that your subject is always in focus. Slow & fast motion* are supported for recording at up to 4K 120fps and FHD 240fps.
* Sound is not recorded in slow motion and time-lapse.
20x optical zoom
An outstanding G Lens™ with 20x power zoom covers everything from wide-angle in-car interviews to telephoto sports shots. It offers an optical zoom range of 24-480mm (35mm full-frame equivalent) and is supported by Sony's Clear Image Zoom technology, which enables 30x zoom in 4K recording or 40x zoom in FHD recording. And you can use maximum apertures of F2.8 (wide-angle) and F4.5 (telephoto) while zooming quickly, smoothly and silently.
Advanced image stabilization
Minimize the effects of camera shake with built-in image stabilization. Active Mode* image stabilization ensures smooth, stable video recordings. Optical and electronic stabilization work together to make hand-held shooting effortless and smooth.
* Slight image cropping in Active Mode. Active Mode is not available when recording at a frame rate of 120 (100) fps or higher, including S&Q.
