This excellent all-rounder is de facto the first choice for a wide range of 4K and HD single image recordings with a completely new 1/3 type 3CMOS sensor. A powerful 25x zoom lens with three independent lens rings delivers razor-sharp 4K images for almost any professional shooting scenario. Advanced Face Detection AF and Sony's unique electronic variable ND filter for stress-free photography.

Extended workflow functions
Instant HDR means you can deliver stunning images quickly without additional color corrections. The Dual MI Shoe enables the simultaneous use of wireless audio radio and a head light, while the extended support for network performance can be easily activated if required *.

4K 1/3 type 3CMOS sensor
The PXW-Z190 is the world's first professional camcorder with a 4K (QFHD) 1/3 "3CMOS sensor. Red, blue and green light are from separate image sensors within the Exmor RTM system in a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with up to 60 Frames captured per second, and even if you shoot in HD, 4: 2: 2 10-bit shots can be captured in such detail that other HD sensors simply cannot see.

25x professional zoom lens with three independent rings and large focal length
The PXW-Z190 is equipped with a 25x professional zoom lens that can zoom from 28.8 mm to 720 mm (corresponds to 35mm). The 1/3-inch lens has three independent control rings, which allow manual control of focus, zoom and aperture and thus enable better and faster adjustment. The image can be enlarged in HD mode without image deterioration and the sensor cropping extender is used in a 50x zoom equivalent.
