With the Sony PXW-FS5 you can take unsurpassed shots even in demanding conditions. With a housing weight of 830 grams, you can turn it almost anywhere. A highly sensitive 4K Super 35 Exmor image sensor delivers 4K resolution video, along with the bright lens even in low light.

4K videos and slow motion shots

The PXW-FS5 is based on a highly sensitive 4K Super 35 Exmor sensor. It delivers stunning 4K resolution video at 100 Mbps - perfect when quality is the top priority. When shooting in Full HD resolution, the camera even reaches a frame rate of 240 fps. If your project plays at cinema-like 24p, it will give you a wonderful 10x slow motion.

Electronically adjustable LP filter

The PXW-FS5 is equipped with an integrated electronic variable ND filter, which extends the depth of field capacity of the large format sensor even more. Unlike conventional ND optical filters, the ND filter of the PXW-FS5 can be linearly controlled from 1/4 ND to 1/128 ND. This makes the PXW-FS5 ideal for fast-moving shots in changing environments: it eliminates the need to change filters in varying light conditions, and variable control makes depth-of-field control easy.

Flexible controls

All the important functions of the PXW-FS5 are right at your fingertips: electronic zoom lever, assignable wheels and sensitive joysticks. The Smart Grip is as close as possible to the camera center of gravity to prevent roll, while a grip belt provides secure grip. To adjust the angle of the Smart Grip, just press a button and turn the handle. Since the handle has a bayonet lock, it can be removed quickly and easily.

Versatile control

However you choose to record, the PXW-FS5 adapts to your style. The 3.5 "LCD screen can be attached to a total of nine different locations: three at the top of the handle and another six at the top of the case.The positioning of the screen can be freely adjusted - for example, either next to the camera body or directly along the optical axis of the lens.

Modular design for easy integration

The PXW-FS5 is designed to be quickly and easily disassembled. Special tool is not required. 1/4 "threaded holes are provided on the handle and top and bottom of the case for attachment to a drone, gimbal, or underwater housing. Mounted on a tripod is a 3/8" threaded hole the bottom available.

WLAN and LAN - networked for high mobility

With built-in Wi-Fi and a LAN connection, you can stream live streams from any event. You can also connect to a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi to remotely control the PXW-FS5.

The SELP18105G combines outstanding image quality with a smooth, silent power zoom. Aspherical lens elements minimize distortion, while ED glass elements ensure outstanding contrast, resolution and color depth. The constant f / 4 aperture lets you zoom closer to your subject without sacrificing detail.
