Sony expanded the XDCAM HD422 product portfolio to hand PMW-150 with 50 Mbit / s / HD422, three Full HD 1.3 '- Exmor CMOS sensors and a 20x zoom lens

'- Reached Exmor CMOS sensors, the PMW-150 has a higher sensitivity and lower noise than comparable 1.3' '- with three 1.3' camcorders on the market. It has a 20x zoom lens with a focal length of 29.5 to 590 mm (35mm equivalent) and impresses with wide-angle shots from a distance, for example in event productions and documentaries. The lens features three separate rings for focus, zoom and aperture for a full manual control. Also a function of image stabilization is available.
The PMW-150 records in 1080 / 50i, 1080 / 25P, 720 / 50P, 720 / 25P or PAL to. The camcorder also features built-in ND filter with four positions (Clear, 1: 1/4, 2: 1/16, 3: 1-64), and a powerful Slow - & - Quick Motion function at frame rates of 1 Picture / s up to 60 frames / s in 720p mode and from 1 frame / s able to record up to 30 frames / second in 1080p mode. Further features of the PMW-150 a practical cache recording function. Even before the record button is pressed, the camcorder records up to 15 seconds images in the internal memory that would otherwise be overlooked by the user.
Genlock In and Timecode In / Out interfaces create ideal conditions for applications with multiple cameras. Also as far as the choice of recording media, the camcorder is characterized by great flexibility. Besides the professional SxS technology from Sony PMW-150 also accepts the media like SD, Memory Stick and XQD cards (adapter required).
