Trabant is a car brand that was manufactured in the GDR at the Zwickau plant of VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke. The model 601 was launched in 1964 and produced until 1990. The De-Luxe version was developed in 1967. Trabant vehicles were characterized by several technically interesting solutions, such as the body panels made from a corrosion-resistant plastic material called Duroplast, produced from cotton fibers and phenolic resin. It had a melting point similar to aluminum and increased the car's compressive strength. Other notable features included a small air-cooled two-stroke engine, large windows, and a relatively spacious interior. The car reached a dizzying speed of just over 100 km/h. The Trabant can rightfully be called a cult car of the German Democratic Republic. To this day, it remains a recognizable and extremely popular classic among automobile enthusiasts. It has also become an integral part of popular culture. Model with 72 parts, printed blocks, and movable elements. Model dimensions (LxWxH): 10 x 5 x 4 cm
