To remove contaminants from drinking water, such as lead or copper that may accumulate from household pipes, we recommend using the NFP Premium drinking water cartridge. Due to its high performance spectrum against potential drinking water contaminants and its excellent hygienic properties, this NFP Premium filter cartridge is used in almost all CARBONIT® drinking water filters.

Service Life

The filter cartridge must be replaced after 6 months (according to DIN 1988). In principle, up to 10,000 liters of water can be filtered within the 6 months. However, an earlier replacement may be necessary if the water flow is noticeably reduced. An early change is not a defect of the filter used, but an indication of an increased presence of fine particles in the unfiltered water.
