Limescale protection and activated carbon filtration in one, the perfect all-round solution for drinking water treatment in the household, in gastronomy and industrial applications.

1st filtration stage

Like the NFP Premium, the Premium Dualis consists of a 0.45 µm coconut activated carbon block. Medicinal residues, heavy metals such as lead or copper, hormone-like substances, plasticizers, chemical-organic compounds such as herbicides and pesticides, as well as chlorine, sediments, bad taste or smell are reliably and naturally removed from the water; the Carbonit activated carbon is currently hardly surpassed. Thanks to its liter output of well over 2 l / min. it is very suitable for the stainless steel water vortex vortex egg.

2nd limescale protection level

The integrated granulate in the middle of the filter cartridge provides extensive protection against limescale residues over its entire service life; less limestone in the kettle, in the coffee machine, on fittings, tiles or wash basins, pleasant drinking water for tea and coffee. The granulate is of course food-safe and completely biologically neutral.

3. Removal of old lime residues

Carbon dioxide bound in the water releases microscopic bubbles during lime treatment, so-called micro-bubbles, they counteract the formation of germs and at the same time ensure that old lime residues in pipes, kettles, coffee machines and many other devices are broken down.

The limescale protection granulate converts the temporary water hardness into aragonite crystals, dissolved lime becomes insoluble and non-sticking calcium carbonate. This process is called heterogeneous catalysis in physics.

The activated carbon used by Carbonit comes from a previously unsurpassed process, so-called sintering, with very little binding agents. The homogeneous coal structure is added, which results in an extremely effective and, above all, consistently stable pollutant adsorption force.

If the water is very hard, a larger proportion of magnesium cannot be structurally changed due to heterogeneous catalysis and can therefore sometimes form light, lime-like residues.

Useful life:

The cartridge should be changed after approx. 6 months or after removing approx. 5000 liters. The increased occurrence of suspended solids (dirt particles) can lead to a premature reduction in flow.
This is not a defect in the cartridge, it illustrates the need for filtration, but may require an earlier change.
