This 11-piece repair set for cup hinges contains all the tools and spare parts you need to repair two cracked hinges on the carcase side of your furniture. Illustrated instructions guide you through the project step by step to ensure that the repair is carried out quickly and safely.
Use the included drill bit and the matching depth stop to drill out the torn screw holes to a limited depth. This prevents drilling through the carcass. Then lower the edges to prepare the flush screw fitting. Two screw-in nuts are available for each hinge. Screw these in to reinforce the tear-out points and create a new threaded connection. You can now screw the hinge tight again using two countersunk screws.
