With this 5-piece complete set for installing cup hinges, furniture construction becomes a successful project. The set contains two drilling templates, a Forstner bit Ø 26 mm, a self-centring hinge drill bit Ø 2.5 mm and a wood twist drill bit Ø 5 mm. In just a few steps, all drilling positions and edge distances are correctly determined, centered, drilled and pre-drilled so that the hinge can then be accurately screwed together.
The two drilling templates with the integrated stop can be easily clamped between the door and carcase and help you to align these elements parallel to each other. Thanks to the markings in the template, you are also guaranteed to find the markings and drilling positions for installing your Ø 26 mm cup hinges at the correct distance from the outer edge.
With the included self-centering hinge drill bit (Ø 2.5 mm) and Forstner bit, you can drill the hole for the hinge cup in the right size. The tool enables guided vertical and depth-limited drilling. For the final clean, tear-free screw connection, pre-drill the screw holes with the wood drill (Ø 5 mm). This guarantees that your Ø 26 mm concealed hinges are installed correctly.
