The water sensor measures flooding as well as the ambient temperature. The sensor is battery operated, but can alternatively be supplied with 12 or 24 V (DC). The sensor can alarm directly via the siren or via the Z-Wave Plus signal. As far as the placement of the sensor is concerned, thanks to three probes with a sophisticated telescopic mechanism, it can be placed anywhere, even on uneven surfaces.

Fibaro is an intelligent building automation system made up of miniature modules that can be installed virtually anywhere in your home and are also compatible with any electrical system. However, the Fibaro devices are not permanently linked to the building infrastructure, so you can easily remove the modules from the wall and put them in another location when redesigning your home. Through the mesh network, the modules update their location after re-installation, resuming cooperation with the rest of the system components.

In terms of control and communication, the Fibaro system leaves nothing to be desired, as it is compatible with most mobile phones on the market and with wireless products from almost 300 different manufacturers. In addition, it is compatible with all major IP cameras and sends an image or video to your mobile phone as soon as an incident is reported.

Fibaro provides a simple configuration interface that allows you to change the relationships between individual devices, locations, and the complete control panel of any computer at any time without the need for any special software or technical service.

The Fibaro system can be integrated into an existing alarm system. Each system component can operate completely independently of the central unit. Should the central system be damaged and the system discovers eg a fire, each component decides for itself whether the shutters should be pulled up, the windows or doors opened, smoke ventilators should be started, etc. Best of all, there will be no VPN connection or static IP address needed to remotely control the system.
