The window and door contact for concealed installation of Homematic reliably detects opened or closed windows and doors via an integrated infrared light barrier. The installation is concealed in the context of plastic windows and doors. Installation is very easy thanks to the supplied adhesive tape. This means that the device is not visible when the windows are closed. However, a minimum distance of 15 mm between frame and sash is required for mounting.
Purpose and functions
During ventilation, the room temperature is automatically lowered in conjunction with the Homematic IP Radiator Thermostat. On request, z. B. be triggered in combination with the HomematicIP siren alarm, as soon as a Fensterbzw. a door is opened. Further, open windows and doors are displayed directly in the HomematicIP app? This way, the current status can be viewed at any time while on the move. The built-in sabotage contact informs about the app when manipulating the window and door contact.
