- Power down when ports are not active
When a computer or network device is switched off, the corresponding port of a traditional switch continues to consume a significant amount of power. The TL-SG105 automatically detects the link status of each port and reduces the power consumption of ports that are idle, saving up to 65% energy.

- Energy allocation according to cable length
Ideally, shorter cables would consume less power because less energy is lost over the length of the cable. This is not the case with most devices, as they send the same amount of energy over the cable, regardless of its length.

Easy to use

The automatic functions of this Gigabit switch make installation easy thanks to plug-and-play. No configuration is required. Auto-MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables.
