Miele DKF 22-1 carbon filter 9812030
In addition to the stainless steel metal filter, which absorbs fat particles, activated charcoal filters are used in extractor hoods in recirculation mode.
Unpleasant kitchen smells are stored in the micropores of the activated carbon and neutralized.
If you operate your Miele cooker hood with circulating air, make sure that the operating hours counter on your hood is activated. It reliably indicates when the charcoal filter needs to be changed. Your Miele cooker hood can only function properly in recirculation mode if you change it regularly.
With all extractor hoods, ie in both recirculation and exhaust air mode, the grease filters must also be cleaned regularly when the control lamp lights up. Usually this happens every 3-4 weeks. In the operating instructions for your Miele
Extractor hood you will find all the information on optimal care and cleaning.
Please note: an over-greased filter means a fire hazard!
