The DEX filter ensures an even extraction and a better crema, ultimately leading to a better taste.

This 15 g filter is suitable for bottomless portafilters or portafilters with a spout that are 22 mm high.
This filter fits perfectly on 58 mm portafilters.

DEX stands for Deep Extraction, and the filter is closely related to the extraction process, hence the name DEX filter.
The number and size of the holes in the bottom of the filter have a direct impact on the coffee extraction. These holes are referred to as Total Open Area (TOA). The DEX filter has 872 high-precision filter holes that increase the extraction rate and improve the crema.

The DEX filter has straight walls and a flat bottom, which leads to optimal pressure distribution when tamping. The rectangular arrangement of the holes ensures an even water flow, and the holes are graduated, resulting in better extraction.

The entire filter is made of stainless steel (AISI304), making it very robust and durable. It is easy to clean, corrosion-resistant, and oxidation-resistant.
