The espresso puck filter is placed on the coffee cake pressed down with the tamper, ensuring an even flow of water. The channeling effect is reduced, achieving a uniform extraction of the entire coffee grounds. This allows all the aromatic substances from the coffee to be dissolved.

Another advantage is that the brew head remains clean and tidy due to minimal contact with the coffee grounds. The coffee cake becomes more compact and can be ejected in one piece without leaving a mess.

This puck filter fits perfectly on 53 mm portafilters.
Through repeated tests, MHW 3Bomber has determined that 53.35 mm is the perfect size. It fits precisely in 53 mm portafilters and reduces waste of coffee grounds.

The filter has a thickness of only 0.2 mm, making it ultra-thin, so the amount of coffee grounds does not need to be reduced. The entire filter is made of stainless steel (SUS304), making it very robust and durable. Additionally, it is coated in black titanium.
