The complete remake of the sequel to the FATAL FRAME (PROJECT ZERO) series, originally released in 2003, is titled FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO II: Crimson Butterfly. This horror adventure game in the Japanese style follows twin sisters who wander into an abandoned village haunted by vengeful spirits. Using the Camera Obscura, a device that can detect and seal away the impossible, they confront the ghosts throughout the story.


This title has been completely overhauled, with all elements, from graphics to audio and key gameplay systems and controls, improved. The signature Camera Obscura mechanic, used to detect and repel ghosts, remains a crucial feature and now offers more extensive and engaging gameplay both in exploration and combat. Additionally, the new mechanic "taking Mayu by the hand" adds an intimate aspect, allowing you to experience the deep bond between the sisters more than ever before.
