Bring life to your island
You create the Mii characters that inhabit the island. You can take inspiration from all sorts of people: your family and friends, people you admire - or you can come up with your own character! You can customize your Mii characters in various ways, including their personality traits, quirks, and appearance. There are even facial features available that can only be found in this game.

If you'd rather not choose every detail yourself, you can simply answer a list of questions to create Mii characters. Help them discover their likes and dislikes, build relationships, and have loads of fun in their wacky daily lives. Your Mii characters develop their own lives and will surprise you time and again!

Cultivate the community
When you grab Mii characters and place them next to each other, they spend time together. You can watch as your characters form surprising friendships, argue with each other, fall in love spontaneously (and break up again), and so much more.

The more you care for your Mii characters, the better you get to know them. Give them food, outfits, gifts, and - most importantly - always be there to offer advice and support as they navigate the ups and downs of island life. You can even teach them words and phrases that they will then add to their vocabulary!

Shape the environment
You can expand and redesign the island at will. Place houses, shops, restaurants, and other hangouts where your island residents can pass the time. Want your characters to feel especially comfortable? Redecorate their rooms and choose the furniture, wallpaper, and flooring that suits them.

Crafting enthusiasts can also create custom items in the workshop. There, you can design everything from unique house facades and flooring to pets, food, clothing, and more. Your Mii characters will surely appreciate all your creations!
