The twelve blade shapes are forged from 32-layer, stainless Damascus steel, a material that has enjoyed great popularity for over 2000 years when it comes to cutting tools. The absolute highlight in the processing of the blades of this edition is that the knives have a hand-finished hammered surface and are therefore unmistakably recognizable as a manufactory product, which alone gives them a touch of historicity. This timeless charm is complemented by the solid blade core made of VG MAX steel, which gives the cutting edge an extreme hardness of 61 ±1 HRC. This makes the blade extremely durable and a long-lasting partner when slicing food.
