With the HORL 2 Pro, Otmar and Timo Horl are realizing a very personal dream. With a high-precision internal planetary gear, a triple grinding motion is generated by a simple rolling motion. Thus, the HORL 2 Pro grinds at three times the speed of the other HORL roll grinders. Solid stainless steel and aluminum components provide a particularly noble appearance in a dark bronze color.

Ceramic honing wheel
After processing with the HORL Diamond Standard, the ceramic honing wheel significantly refines the grinding result. Just a few movements are sufficient for this. The result is a smooth and cleanly ground knife edge.

Diamond grinding wheel
The industrial diamonds used are suitable for all knife steels of any degree of hardness for efficient sharpening without water. When used properly, the HORL diamond standard never needs to be replaced. The grain size of 46 μm grinds efficiently and precisely. A high-quality sharpening result is thus achieved in a short time.

Magnetic grinding gauge - for a constant angle.
The combination of strong neodymium magnets and the HORLS pad enable a secure fixation of the knife during grinding. Reinforced by the anti-slip effect of the S-pad, even small blades can be sharpened constantly and reproducibly at the desired height.

15° grinding angle for filigree sharpness
With the 15° grinding angle, particularly fine blades made of Damascus and high-quality carbon steel receive filigree sharpness. These knife edges can be ground to a very fine finish while retaining their stability.

20° grinding angle for stable sharpness
The 20° grinding angle provides new sharpness in a short time. The knife retains its sharpness for a long time due to the stable edge and is suitable for a wide variety of cuts in everyday kitchen use. Also in the outdoor area, it gives many pocket knives a stable edge and excellent sharpness for daily use.
