The G2 from the G series from Global is a fantastic chef's knife with a slightly rounded tip. Thanks to the ergonomic shape, the fingers almost automatically wrap themselves around the knife handle. Global knives are perfectly balanced thanks to a sophisticated system. The handle with the characteristic little black dots is filled with sand and lies non-slip in the hand. As a result, the knives are neither top nor handle-heavy, lie optimally in the hand and can be guided safely.
Global always uses Cromova 18 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC for its knives. This rustproof steel and the absence of rivets, wood or other sensitive materials ensure that these knives are ideally suited for heavy and intensive use.
The blade is ground with a small grinding angle of 15-17 degrees, which is typical for Japanese knives, which gives the knife a razor-sharp edge.
This knife is ideal for portioning fried meat.
