The 18 cm Brute Santoku knife from Forged is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word "santoku" means "three virtues," referring to the three cutting functions the knife offers: slicing, dicing, and chopping. This versatility makes it an all-rounder in the kitchen. The Brute knives from Forged are made from Japanese 440C steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. All Forged knives are hand-forged, feature a blade thickness of 2 mm, and have a cutting angle of 18 degrees.
