In the living room at home, the new console stands in the Nintendo Switch station, which connects the device to the TV - perfect for cozy play with family and friends from the sofa. When players take Nintendo Switch out of the station, the console immediately switches to handheld mode. This allows Nintendo fans to enjoy the same gaming fun on the go. The bright HD screen integrated into the console ensures an optimal gaming experience just like on the TV - even in the park, on the train, in the car or at another Nintendo friend's house.

And because shared gaming fun is double gaming fun, the Joy-Con controllers, which are attached to both sides of the console, can be detached from Nintendo Switch. This allows for a wide variety of gaming combinations: one player with one Joy-Con controller in each hand, two players with one each, or many players with multiple Joy-Con controllers.

As easy as they are to detach, the controllers are just as easy to reattach, whether to the console or to the Joy-Con holder, which resembles a traditional controller.
