Biomutant is a mythical, post-apocalyptic kung fu RPG set in an open world with a unique martial arts combat system that allows you to combine melee combat, shooting and mutation actions.

A new approach to combat in third-person perspective
The martial arts combat system gives you maximum freedom of movement and agility to combine shooting, melee combat and the powers of your mutations. Learning new Wushu fighting forms through progression and the things you learn from masters along the way will constantly expand your options and ensure that the battles never get boring.

Evolve your gameplay
You can recode your genetic structure to change your appearance and game performance. This will naturally have an effect on your attributes. In addition, exposure to biocontamination in the world will result in physical mutations (such as locust grapples and spiked tails). Exposure to radioactivity in old-world bunkers affects your mind and can trigger psychomutations such as telekinesis, levitation and more.

The Next Level of Crafing
You are completely free when it comes to crafting weapons. Combine parts to make your own unique one-handed or two-handed melee weapons to slash, smash or pierce. Revolvers, rifles, and shotguns, as well as modifications like corkscrews, battery chainsaw modules, or biocontaminated mud ampoules can be added to your arsenal of weapons. There are even characters that make cool stuff for you like bionic wings or a jump module, and even let you modify the robot (your junky toy sidekick).

Get Ready for Adventure
You're completely free when it comes to equipping your character. Not only can you choose weapons you've crafted, but you can also choose the clothes you wear. Equip your character with a gas mask and an oxygen tank when you explore the death zones, wear thermoresistant clothes when you venture into cryonic zones, and choose protective clothing when you deal with biocontaminated creatures - the choice is yours.

Survive in a vibrant open-world environment
You can explore the world and all that lies beneath the surface on foot, in a mech, by jet ski, hot air balloon, or by other means of transportation that vary depending on the environment. Explore the extinct wilderness, the tunnel and bunker networks of the underworld, and make your way through the mountains or the archipelago. You can make many discoveries, uncover secrets, encounter creatures and meet strange characters in this vibrant and dazzling world.

An unusual story with an unusual ending
Your actions play a big role in the development of a story where the ending comes to the New World. A plague destroys the land and death seeps from the roots of the Tree of Life. The tribes are divided, they need someone strong enough to unite them or subjugate them all ... You'll be guided through the game by a narrator who will comment on every step of your story, but it's your actions and decisions that will determine the end of your survival story.
