You play as Low and Alone, two best friends who have found each other in this lonely nightmare. Each of them possesses a unique item: Low has a bow and Alone has a wrench. They always work together and have learned to sneak through hidden paths, help each other over large obstacles, and look out for one another.

Whether you play with a friend or the AI, you depend on each other and your special items to create opportunities and progress. The environment is full of clues and possibilities that imaginative children can exploit. Low's arrows can reach higher targets, and Alone's wrench is perfect for taking out dazed enemies, breaking barriers, or manipulating huge machines.

Wherever you go, nowhere is filled with terrifying monsters. The inhabitants spare no effort to capture little, bothersome visitors who attract too much attention.

At times, you must play terrifying hide-and-seek with a monster baby in the sandy ruins of Nekropolis, struggle to escape swarms of candy beetles in the disturbing candy factory, or dodge giant feet while running across the rain-soaked promenades of a filthy fair.

You must always be ready to run, hide, or even defend yourself to stay alive.
