The double locking mechanism—a crucial step to ensure the safety of both the individual and the officers—is easily and instantly achieved by pressing the double locking bar with a fingertip. The bar is color-coded for quick visual status recognition: once the handcuffs are applied and adjusted, simply press the bar. And since no key is required during the application of the handcuffs, it is even safer for everyone involved.

Forged Aluminum Frame: Forged from military-grade aluminum 7075 T6, the frames of the Ultra Cuffs are rigid and incredibly strong, yet lightweight. The forging process—unlike the stamped steel parts of other restraints—avoids rough or sharp edges; the smooth, rounded Ultra Cuff frame is more ergonomic and safer for both the officer and the restrained individual.
The geometry of the cuff adapts to a wider range of wrist sizes, and the flat contact surface enhances application speed and accuracy. The cuffs are also strongly rounded to prevent injuries. Ultra Cuffs are available with either steel or aluminum cuffs to further reduce weight.
