Thanks to its smart and simple design, handcuffs can be securely stored, and all accessories for preparing and discreetly transporting a person are readily available with a single handle. Especially in the context of a courthouse or in air security applications, the belt version is often preferred; with its lightweight and silent operation, the belt system is significantly more neutral and discreet than the chain version, which has its place in corrections.

The restraint system of the Transport Kit, Belt consists of the ASP Rigid Ultra Cuff wrist restraints and a robust, cut-resistant strap of seatbelt quality, which is connected to the handcuffs via a tongue and then wrapped around the body of the detainee. A high-security lock secures the strap to the restraint; the lock does not need to be closed with a key but engages automatically. This special security feature distinguishes the system, as the key, which fits into a cylinder lock with 2,187 possible unique keyway configurations, is only used to unlock the lock. With a button and reinforced holes, excess strap can be secured away.
