Forged Aluminum Frame: Forged from military-grade aluminum 7075 T6, the frames of the Ultra Cuffs are rigid and incredibly strong, yet lightweight. The forging process - as opposed to the stamped steel parts of other cuffs - also avoids rough or sharp edges; the smooth, rounded Ultra Cuff frame is more ergonomic and safer for both the officer and the restrained individual.
The geometry of the bar accommodates a wider range of wrists, and the flat contact surface enhances application speed and accuracy. The bars are also strongly rounded to prevent injuries. Ultra Cuffs are available with either steel or aluminum bars to further reduce weight.
