The Deltaco e-Charge EV-3207 charging cable is compatible with all vehicles that have a Type 2 socket for those who want to charge using a public charger or their own dedicated charging box at home with a Type 2 socket, known as Mode 3 charging. Charging power up to 22KW. Silver-plated connectors ensure good contact and a long lifespan. Length 7m. Equipped with a dust cover to protect against dust, dirt, and moisture during storage. The cable is made from TPE material, which offers good resistance to oil, abrasion, and UV light. The cable remains flexible even in cold conditions. Type 2 sockets are now the EU standard, with cars from manufacturers such as AUDI, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, and Volvo all using Type 2 sockets. The vehicle's charging process is monitored through two-way communication between the vehicle and the charger. When the cable is plugged into the vehicle, a self-test is performed to ensure that the cable is properly connected and the vehicle is ready to receive power before the charging process begins and the cable is mechanically tensioned. After charging, unlock the vehicle so that the mechanical lock opens, and first pull the charging cable from the side of the vehicle to disconnect it from the charger. The cable must not be repaired or spliced, as this may compromise its safety and functionality.
