Xyladecor Garden Wood Oil 2.5 L reddish

Mild-smelling maintenance oil for the protection and preservation of hardwoods.
Water beading effect: Beading is better than absorption. This prevents the wood from soaking up water and then drying out slowly. The finely tuned combination of waxes and oils penetrates deep into the wood without forming a film and allows rainwater to bead off immediately. Fungi and lichens are thus deprived of a breeding ground and your wood remains protected and beautiful for longer.

Area of application:
Particularly suitable for garden parquet, wooden decking, garden furniture, pergolas, screens, etc. Reduces cracking and protects the wood from drying out.
Wood types: For all hardwoods such as garden wood, Douglas fir, eucalyptus, larch, teak, afzelia, oak, ash, framire, ilomba, jatai, makoré, Oregon pine, radiata pine, red narra, robinia.

Processing:
Brush or wipe off dust and dirt from the workpiece. Clean the wood (e.g. with soapy water), allow to dry and sand lightly with sandpaper or sanding fleece if necessary. Do not inhale sanding dust, wear a dust mask. For grayed wood, we recommend using Xyladecor Teak Wood Cleaner or Wood Cleaner and Graying Remover to restore the natural wood tone. Shake and stir Xyladecor Garden Wood Oil well before use. Apply thinly and evenly with a flat brush or a clean, soft cloth. Ensure good ventilation during application. Allow the 1st coat to dry for at least 5 hours. Then apply 1 further coat. A 3rd coat is recommended to achieve particularly attractive surfaces on old wood.

Coverage:
Approx. 70 m2 with 1 coat, depending on the type of wood and absorbency. With 2 coats, 2.5 l are sufficient for approx. 35 m2.
