Xyladecor Bangkirai non-slip 2.5 L Teak

Transparent and non-slip semi-gloss glaze, improves safety. Nourishes and protects patio and garden wood. Slows down the graying of wood.

Area of application:
Very suitable for protecting wooden decking. Provides an anti-slip effect due to the presence of anti-slip granules. Slows down the graying of wood. Can be used on hardwood species (Bankirai, Ipé, Afrormosia, etc.) and softwood species (larch, Oregon, spruce, etc.) Can also be used on outdoor stairs.

New wood: Dust off and degrease. Apply 2 to 3 coats of Xyladecor Bangkirai non-slip.

Untreated weathered wood:
Clean the deck the first time with water at low high pressure. Apply Xyladecor Power Cleaner for all exterior wood, leave to work, scrub and rinse. If necessary, de-grey with Xyladecor Degreaser for all exterior wood. Rinse off and
allow to dry. Then apply 3 coats of Xyladecor Bangkirai non-slip.

Wood that has already been treated:
In good condition: clean floor with water at low pressure or low high pressure. Apply Xyladecor Power Cleaner for all exterior wood, leave to act, scrub and rinse. Then apply 2 coats of Xyladecor Bangkirai non-slip.

In poor condition: Remove all loose layers down to the bare wood and continue to treat as untreated, weathered wood.

Stir well before and during application. Apply with a wide, long-haired brush. Ready to use. Clean the tool with white spirit.

Coverage: 12-14 m²/l per coat, depending on the roughness and absorbency of the substrate.

Drying time: At 20 °C and 60 % relative humidity. Dust-dry: 4 hours. Can be painted over: 18 hours.

Can be walked on: After 24 hours (light load); normal load: 3 to 4 days.

Density: approx. 0.90 kg/l. Finish - Silk gloss.

Safety
Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying. Avoid naked flames and other sources of ignition.
