The Nucleus-M II Wireless Lens Control System from Tilta is the state-of-the-art successor to the Nucleus-M.
The Nucleus-M II has been designed for independent filmmakers and professional productions, offering high-end functionality and top performance. The system supports up to four wireless motors simultaneously and allows for complete remote control of manual lenses.
A motor can be attached to the variable ND filter for the Tilta Mirage Pro Matte Box, enabling exposure adjustments in real-time without touching the camera.
The heart of the system is the FIZ Hand Unit, a versatile controller that allows for precise adjustments of lens settings. It is powered by NP-F550 batteries. Various options for wireless camera control, such as ISO, white balance, shutter speed, and more, complete the package.
The handwheel now features an adjustable resistance for sensitive focusing, an integrated lens mapping for precise motor positioning, and a clear display of focus distance, aperture, and zoom information on up to 4 different screens. Most notably, the electronic focus marking disc displays focus information.
The advanced wireless motors feature an optimized user interface, color-coded LED indicators, and a compact design with high torque, making them ideal for gimbals, drones, and handheld rigs.
One of the biggest innovations of the Nucleus-M II is the ability to save and load mapped lens data. This allows a 1st AC to quickly and easily set the focus to a specific distance, the aperture to a standard T-stop, or the zoom to an exact focal length.
Filmmakers upgrading can continue to use their existing wireless controllers and motors from the Nucleus series.
The Nucleus-M II redefines the possibilities of wireless follow-focus technology.
