The Story
Ivalice - a kingdom that shines under the light of the gods and the rule of the two-headed lion. A year has passed since the defeat against the neighboring country of Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War. After the king passed away from an illness, the two-year-old prince was to govern the land from then on.

In the dispute over his guardianship, two esteemed generals faced each other, both of whom had made a name for themselves in numerous battles of the past war: the Black Lion Duke Goltanna and the White Lion Duke Larg, whose coats of arms each featured the eponymous beast. The conflict between these ambitious feudal lords would go down in history as the "Lion War."

Amidst this turbulent era lived two young men: Ramza, a scion of the esteemed knightly family Beoulve, and Delita, who came from humble beginnings and had grown up alongside the noble Ramza. They too would be swept up in the relentless tide of events on their journey.

Tactical Battles
The skillful positioning of units and anticipating the enemy's actions determine victory and defeat in the gripping battles. The one who knows how to utilize the terrain of the three-dimensional battlefields and keeps track of who takes their turn when will emerge victorious.

Character Development and Customization
With a variety of jobs and skills, no two strategies are alike.

Each character can switch between a range of jobs, each possessing specific skills. Once learned, these skills can also be used with other jobs. Create your own unique fighting style from the thousands of possible combinations.

The game offers over 20 unique jobs, including familiar ones from the FINAL FANTASY series such as White Mage, Black Mage, and Dragoon. Chocobos and other creatures can also become part of your party when you recruit them.

Enhanced Version and Classic Version
Choose between the Enhanced Version, which offers a renewed, immersive gaming experience, and the Classic Version, which allows you to experience the original from 1997 almost unchanged.

For those not solely focused on pure nostalgia, the Enhanced Version not only features improved graphics but also includes voice acting that brings the characters from the world of Ivalice to life.

Additionally, certain aspects have been made more user-friendly, such as some elements of the combat system. For newcomers, there is now an easier difficulty level.
