Digital Fiber Optic Microscope for Inspecting Connector End Faces
When inspecting fiber optic links and before connecting fiber optic connectors, an inspection and assessment of the connector surfaces should be conducted to prevent dirt from affecting transmission quality or damaging the contact area. With the new fiber optic microscope, connector end faces can be quickly and easily inspected and subjected to automatic evaluation according to IEC 61300-3-35.
Thanks to the USB connection, the microscope can be easily connected to the WireXpert or FiberXpert, allowing the corresponding evaluation of the connector end faces to be included in the measurement reports.
