Description

The Hobbes Fiber Checker Pro is designed for the easy and quick inspection of faulty fiber optic cables.

Sends a visible (650nm) strong laser signal through the cable - break points become visible through a recognizable light glow in the area of the fault. Breaks or damages in the fiber optic cable reflect/break the light and indicate the damaged area with a bright glow.
Universal connector, compatible with common connector types (ST, SC, FC, etc.).
With the optional 2.5mm to 1.25mm adapter (13.01.3372), users can also test 1.25mm cables (e.g., with LC connectors).
Switchable between continuous and pulsing beam.
Visible light beam over distances of up to 3km of fiber optic cable (minimum).
Suitable for both multimode and single mode fibers.
Batteries for the tester: 2x AAA 1.5V (LR03 / AM-4).
