Schleich Clydesdale foal

The Clydesdale is one of the largest horses in the world. When fully grown, it measures 160180 centimeters. Only Shire Horses and Brabanter horses grow taller. Clydesdales grow more slowly than other horse breeds. The foals are not fully grown at the age of four to five, but only at seven to eight years. Then they weigh a good 1000 kilograms - as much as a small car. They are so strong that they can pull things that are much heavier than themselves. They therefore also have a high demand for food and water. They need 2025 kilograms of grain with minerals and vitamins and around 5060 kilograms of hay every day. This naturally makes them thirsty. Very thirsty. Clydesdales drink over 100 liters of water every day. Clydesdale foals are already almost one meter tall at birth.
