Puly Caff is the fast-dissolving cleaning powder product used for backflushing brew heads on espresso machines. It can also be used to clean filters and filter holders. Simply mix 1-2 teaspoons of Puly Caff with warm water and soak the dirty parts of your coffee machine for about 20 minutes. When you take the parts out of the basin, they will be cleaned and look shiny and new. For backflushing the brew head, you should place 1 coffee spoon of Puly Caff in a blind filter and run it as if you were making coffee. A foam will appear from the waste or disposal pipe; this process should be repeated until the foam becomes clear, after which a normal backflush with just water should be performed to ensure that the cleaning products are completely rinsed out.
We recommend backflushing the brew head at least once a month.
