The DEX sieve ensures an even extraction and a better crema, ultimately leading to a better taste.

This 20 g sieve is suitable for bottomless portafilters or portafilters with a spout that are 26 mm high.
This sieve fits perfectly on 58 mm portafilters.

DEX stands for Deep Extraction, and the sieve is closely related to extraction, hence the name DEX sieve.
The number and size of the holes in the bottom of the sieve have a direct impact on the coffee extraction. These holes are referred to as Total Open Area (TOA). The DEX sieve has 872 high-precision filter holes that increase the extraction rate and improve the crema.

The DEX sieve has straight walls and a flat bottom, which leads to optimal pressure distribution when tamping. The rectangular arrangement of the holes ensures an even water flow, and the holes are tapered, resulting in better extraction.

The entire sieve is made of stainless steel (AISI304), making it very robust and durable. It is easy to clean, corrosion-resistant, and oxidation-resistant.
