The story of City Hunter begins when Ryo Saeba is approached by a woman desperately searching for her missing boyfriend – a man who vanished without a trace shortly after confessing to having created something "terrible" at work.
As a legendary "Sweeper," Ryo certainly can't abandon a beautiful woman in distress. So he sets out to visit the missing man's employer. But upon arrival, he quickly realizes that HuG Electronics is anything but an ordinary company.

Armed with his sharp instincts, trusty revolver, and his own unique sense of justice, it's up to City Hunter to uncover the terrible conspiracy – and stop it!
