Despite its compact size, the CINEMA 70s is equipped with the latest technology and handles video signals with up to 8K UHD resolution and HDR and Dolby Vision. For home theater, the latest audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are also handled with ease.

For modern and straightforward streaming, the Marantz CINEMA 70s is equipped with HEOS, which also allows integration into a compatible multi-room system and access to a wide range of streaming platforms and internet radio via this platform can be operated with the user-friendly HEOS app. For streaming high-quality Hi-Res Audio sources, the CINEMA 70s supports a variety of Lossless audio formats - up to DSD 2.8 / 5.6 MHz and is Roon tested.

The amplifier section is equipped with high quality Class A/B power amplifiers, which provide a rich and powerful sound. The amplifier power is 7x 50 watts (8 ohms) and 7x 70 watts (6 ohms). Various source devices such as DVD and Blu-ray players, game consoles and TV audio can be connected via the multitude of analog and digital connections. The 6 HDMI inputs are equipped with HDCP2.3 and three of them support signals up to 8K@60Hz.
