Many users of the Casablanca editing systems still have even larger "stocks" of VHS, Video8, S-VHS, or Hi8 materials "on hand" from the past, waiting to be processed.

While all Casablanca 3 devices still feature analog (FBAS / YC and audio) inputs, a Casablanca 4 system or Bogart for Windows requires more specialized solutions to import older video material. For this purpose, we have selected a "USB video converter" and programmed additional software that allows the recording of analog video material on Casablanca 4 devices or Windows PCs under Bogart for Windows.

The "USB video converter" comes with a USB cable approximately 75 cm long, allowing you to use one of the rear USB ports for connection, while simultaneously providing the video inputs red+white for audio left-right, yellow for FBAS (VHS/Video-8), and black for Y/C (S-VHS/Hi-8) in the front workspace.
