This Living Nature baby chick plush toy is the smallest character in the Living Nature chicken coop, but with the biggest personality!
This adorable little chick can keep up with his brothers and sisters and has cute little orange legs, the fluffiest body and the sweetest face. A perfect gift for kids who love baby animals!
Chicks are super fluffy baby chickens. Their mothers, called hens, lay eggs and sit on them to raise the chick. After 21 days, the chick breaks out of the egg by pecking tiny holes in it with a hump on its beak called an egg tooth. It will first be drenched by the yolk in the egg. Once it's dry, the down (the chick's fur) gets really fluffy and soft! This fluffy soft fur makes these chicks really adorable. However, at 3-6 weeks of age, they go through an "ugly phase" and become furless! This happens so their new feathers can grow, and at 20 weeks they become full grown chickens.
