Perfect balance
Despite the small size, enormous sound pressure levels of 110 dB can be generated due to the force-cancelling design and at the same time unwanted housing vibrations can be avoided with this design.
Effortless power development
Heat is dissipated by the negatively coupled drivers and the use of two voice coils. In addition, the KF92's ventilated driver ensures less distortion and increased mechanical resilience, allowing it to effortlessly develop its power.
bass driver
The 20 cm (9 inch) hybrid double drivers of the KF92 made of aluminum laminate each have an extremely large magnet and a ventilated voice coil. The resulting linearity and extremely low distortion ensure that every detail is heard regardless of the volume.
Music Integrity Engine?
KEF's evolution in digital sound processing - the Music Integrity Engine (IME) - is the intelligence of the KF92 subwoofer. Intelligent Bass Extension (iBX) optimizes the relationship between amp, drivers and cabinet, while placement-sensitive EQ settings allow for seamless integration into any room.
Turn up the volume
The KF92 subwoofer has built-in Class D amplifiers with 1000 W (500 W for each driver) and can generate enormous volume. Furthermore, the amplifiers are able to keep the driver under control and ensure perfect timing with a large dynamic range for a detailed sound. The result is a studio-like sound in a class of its own.
More bass from a smaller volume
The compact, closed cabinet construction improves flexibility of positioning as well as speed and clarity of playback. In combination with the optimized heat sink design, the elegant housing ensures that the powerful electronics are operated under optimal conditions.
