After sharpening with the HORL® fine and extra fine whetstones, the ultra-fine whetstone opens up a completely new level with three times finer sharpening results than with conventional Japanese whetstones.

With the HORL® Kagami, an incredible mirror sharpness can be achieved after sharpening and using the HORL® fine and extra-fine whetstones, which sets new standards both visually and in terms of measurement.

First make sure that the blade is burr-free and that you have used the HORL® premium sharpening package. Sharpen your knife for at least 5 minutes per side for mirror-sharp results. Important when using the ultra-fine whetstone: Clean the blade and the whetstone from time to time so that a mirror edge can be created and no grinding particles are ground in. For the final fine sharpening, moisten the HORL® Kagami slightly and sharpen for one minute on each side.
