The data-driven automation is managed via the integrated GARDENA Assistant, which analyzes weather forecasts and plant requirements to automatically create tailored irrigation schedules. This ensures plants receive exactly the amount of water they need. When combined with an optional soil moisture sensor, unnecessary watering cycles can be skipped, reducing water consumption and supporting sustainable garden care. Through smart home integration, the Dual Water Control can be easily connected to systems like Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home. Control can be carried out via smartphone, tablet, or smart home hub, both manually and automatically, making irrigation convenient, schedulable, and adaptable at any time. The two independently controllable valves allow watering of two different garden areas simultaneously or at different times. For example, the lawn and a flower bed can be watered individually, each with its own schedules and settings. The high-quality valve technology with Safe-Stop function ensures even water distribution at pressures between 0.5 and 12 bar. This technology guarantees safety, reliability, and a long service life of the system. Furthermore, the smart Dual Water Control offers an integrated frost warning, activated via the GARDENA smart App. If the temperature drops below freezing, an automatic notification is sent to take timely measures against possible frost damage to the irrigation system.
