The main focus during development was on a short and well-defined click feel.

Rated for 80 million actuations, the Kailh GX switches are housed in a sleek, yellow transparent casing that further showcases their unique internal design. Their flawless, spam-friendly rapid-fire actions are due to their precise actuation point and balanced design. The OP1 8K has a so-called hybrid skate design. This means that a smaller skate set is attached to the mouse at the factory, which offers a great balance between surface, weight and gliding properties. In addition, Endgame Gear adds a larger skate set and a sensor skate to the package contents, which is especially beneficial for softer mouse pads.

If you want to minimize the surface area of your mouse skates, for example for use on a glass pad, the large skate cut-outs of the OP1 8K offer many options for using your favorite skates. The screws in the base plate can be loosened to open the mouse and change the main button switches without having to remove the skates.
