The Dragon Egg® MK II Backpack is a 25+ liter backpack that is suitable for short patrol missions as well as a larger EDC backpack. The backpack has three zippered compartments. The main compartment has an internal hydration system pocket and a mesh pocket. The main compartment also has a central hose outlet for a hydration hose. The rear compartment has a padded sleeve that can safely carry multi-band radios or laptops up to 15". The front pocket of the Direct Action® Dragon Egg® features a zippered mesh pocket and an internal organizer for notepads, GPS, writing utensils and other small items. 2 newly designed side pockets can hold small and flat items. The pockets are equipped with an elastic band that expands to fit a standard U.S. canteen or a 1-liter Nalgene water bottle.

The Direct Action® Dragon Egg® also has a zippered pocket lined with soft velour for glasses, cell phone, etc. The backpack also has a daisy chain webbing that runs along the seam of the front panel to attach carabiners or similar to the backpack. The laser-cut system, which is compatible with MOLLE/PALS, not only makes the backpack fully modular, but also ensures an inconspicuous appearance. Thanks to the egg shape, the backpack has a lower height and width than other backpacks with similar capacity, making it more comfortable with belt kits or ballistic vests. The carrying system is based on comfortable shoulder straps and an internal reinforcement in the back. The hip belt is removable and can be stowed away.

Made from durable 500D Cordura® nylon fabric with a water-repellent coating. Combat Vent System®, the innovative ventilation system used in backpacks for increased comfort. Made of contoured foam profiles with multiple air channels combined with airy mesh, CVS® keeps the backpack away from the back, improving air circulation and preventing heat build-up and sweating.
