Direct Action Dragon Egg MK II Backpack® Adaptive Green

The Dragon Egg® MK II Backpack, here in the color Adaptive Green, is a 25+ liter backpack suitable for both short patrol missions and as a larger EDC backpack. The backpack features three zippered compartments. The main compartment has an internal hydration system pocket and a mesh pocket. The main compartment also includes a central hose exit for a hydration tube. The rear compartment has a padded sleeve that can securely transport multi-band radios or laptops up to 15". The front pocket of the Direct Action® Dragon Egg® includes a zippered mesh pocket and an internal organizer for notebooks, GPS devices, writing utensils, and other small items. Two redesigned side pockets can hold small and flat items. The pockets are equipped with an elastic cord that can stretch, allowing a standard U.S. canteen or a 1-liter Nalgene water bottle to fit inside.

The Direct Action® Dragon Egg® also has a soft velour-lined zippered pocket for glasses, phones, etc. The backpack also features a daisy chain webbing that runs along the seam of the front panel to attach carabiners or similar items to the backpack. The laser-cut system, compatible with MOLLE/PALS, not only makes the backpack fully modular but also ensures a discreet appearance. Thanks to its egg shape, the backpack has a lower height and width than other backpacks with similar capacity, making it more comfortable with belt kits or ballistic vests. The carrying system is based on comfortable shoulder straps and an internal stiffening in the back. The hip belt is removable and can be stowed away.

Made from durable 500D Cordura® nylon fabric with a water-repellent coating. Combat Vent System®, the innovative ventilation system used in backpacks that provides increased carrying comfort. Made from contoured foam profiles with multiple air channels combined with airy mesh, CVS® keeps the backpack away from the back, improving air circulation and preventing heat buildup and sweating.
